p4 2.4 oc?

trying to oc my p4 2.4c non ht, northwood, i have 3x512mb ddr pc3200 2-2-2-5-1 timming with kingston hyper x ram. i can run 2.8 no problem when going to 3.0+ ghz it doesnt want to go. meaning i get system 32 error settings are agp pci 66/33 fixed ram timing 2-2-2-5, psb cpu nsb strappe to cpu. im using abit ic-7G max II my mulitiplier is locked @ 18x156 2808ghz anyone suggest any timings/settings?
 
that means you're using P4 2.4Ghz with 533FSB? these are not so OC-able

Also you're indicating you're running 3 DDR? are you running at single channel mode?
 
it sounds to me like you have your processor pretty much tanked out. voltage/cooling is all you have.
 
yes single channel mode. 3x512mb pc3200 hmm well which. well maybe i''ll look into getting another chip down the road. thanks guys.
 
Carefull raising the vcore because those P4's were prone to SNDS.
 
and you might wanna change thermal TAKE to thermal RIGHT in ur sig :p
