P2P raid article from yesterday

Did anyone notice that each of the 5 hubs had 40 *petabytes*? IE a total of 200 petabytes? Does anyone have more info on this story? Were the 5 hubs run by individuals or companies? Was this just a typo, and they meant a total of 40 PB, or 40TB each?

'Cause if that's not a typo, that's 160,000 250 gig hard drives, or 32,000 per hub.
Does anybody here have room for 32,000 hard drives?

4 * 250 gig = 1 TB
4,000 * 250 gig = 1 PB
40 * 4,000 * 250 gig = 40 PB

If you figure 700 megs a movie I would say 40TB but I could be wrong. Even then that still alot of stuff. I figure it has to be a typo.

No one has room for 32,000 hard drives. but a dc hub could have 32,000 users sharing 250 GB

very unlikey so i suspect a typo
