The top fan of my P182 slightly resonates when my Slipstream 800RPM is running. I was looking at getting a rubber gasket, but problem is that the front of the fan is held in by metal hooks and not screws. Has anybody found a successful way to put rubber gromets or a gasket between the fan and the top of the case?

I removed the top fan and place foam. I guess you could try bending the hooks alittle less tight

What I did was to put noise dampening accoustimat over the top vent/scoop piece that you put on top of the case (not the actual vent on the case). This way all the air flows out the back and the noise is non-existant for me, and that is with using a 1300 RPM P162 Noctua Fan normally running around 1000rpm from a fan controller.
I used to have the same case, and after about 3 months, it developed the resonating you speak of. A rubber band wrapped around the end of the fan that goes onto the hooks solved it for me, it provided adequate isolation. I later narrowed it down to the unique panels in the case, as they are made by sandwiching materials. The top panel had one of those layers detach a bit, hence the resonating. However, the rubber band trick worked fine, I was just curious and started investigating. Good luck!!
