P180B hinge situation

I just bought a P180b V1.1 from frys.com it arrived today. I was all excited and everything, it looks like a rock-solid case except the flimsy, cheap hinge. The door hinge is only attached in two place, the top and bottom. The top and bottom attachments have two points where a plastic pin is mounted on to a hole in the case itself. Two of these pins (one on bottom & one on top) are loose, anything but tight, and it seems they are a bit short to actually fit properly into their holes. Thus, when I open or close the door, even when i do it slowly, the entire hinge shakes and shifts left or right, it sort of wobbles. When its closed and i slightly press on the right side of the door the door shifts left.

Is this the same case for you p180-p182 owners? Any suggestions on how I can fix it?

Thanks

Nope, no problem with my P180B hinge... yes, it's a plastic hinge, but it's tight and doesn't move at all other than rotating on its axis. Sounds like you either need to contact frys or antec for a replacement door, that'd probably fix it... might just be the plastic didn't completely fill the mold when your door was made, or your case front got distorted somehow in shipping.

I just put mine together today, and the damn fan filter door snapped off. The pins on the hinge are tiny, and the bottom one broke off while I was mounting the front 120mm fan. I didn't even know I'd broke it, heck I didn't even know I'd touched it. Still an extremely nice case, nicest one I've ever owned and I've owned quite a few. But that was pretty sickening to have that happen right off the bat. So be careful.
