P-4M cooling/power?

Hey, i'm an edumacated newbie. I did search, i promise. Anyways, i was wondering what was adequate cooling for a 1.7ghz P-4M s478 processor. See, i have a regular P4 HSF, but i doubt i need that kinda height or power. Should it take the same cooling as a PM-4 s479? Also, would i need the extra 12V attachment or can i do without it?
