Maybe a warm deal because I am definetly not the camping type and I dont know a whole lot about camping equipment but this is a lot of stuff for 96.48 +tx. I hear its a few bucks more in store.

This 13-piece camping combo set is perfect for cost-conscious families who love the Great Outdoors. Provides up to five people all the gear and acessories needed for a convenient, comfortable stay in the woods.
Set Includes:

* One spacious, all-weather 13' x 10' dome tent
* Two 3 lbs. sleeping bags that keep their warmth down to 40 degrees
* One collapsible cooler that holds 12 cans

oh snap, I could have told you that before clicking the link.. lol. But really, thats a nice little set for someone who wants to go away for a little vacation and doesn't mind a tent.

Anyone buy this yet? I was thinking about getting it for my GF (walmart-a-holic) I wonder how well it holds up? Eh, if it fails I have my bivy :)

Every single Ozark Trail tent i have owned (3) have all started to leak after about the 3rd time each one was rained on.. but that could just be my bad luck with the company.... i wish there was a good quality truck tent for about $50 that would be sweet ;)

EDIT: id stick with the bivy.. man ive wanted one of those for a while as well...

looks decent and even if it will only last for 3 uses in the rain then thats more than enough for most people who would go camping at most once a year.

One of my office mate bit and he likes it so far. It comes in a case the size of a small footlocker and everything is neatly tucked in nice and tight. Good luck getting that crap to fit back in :) But again quality wise i have no idea what I was looking at in the range of quality because I dont know much abotu camping equipment.............Go Firgure for a soldier
:p

It's called rainproofing sealant in some places; comes in an aerosol can, spray it to moisten the outside of the tent, let dry. Should last about 5-10 days of light rain, 2-3 of heavy. Of course, it has to be sprayed on BEFORE the rain to treat the tent; I tend to do it in my living room (tent should be at least semi-erected before spraying....

Oh lord, does that scan the way I think it did?

This MIGHT be worth it if you're getting it for your kids in the back yard or you're going to stay outside Best Buy before Black Friday. This price is cheap, but so is the gear. If you're going camping get some decent gear.

Was just walking in wallyworld tonight and saw that this is now $80 bucks. Not sure if this is the same for all stores but it was here locally Gainesville, Florida

Pretty sweet deal for someone who just wants a set so they can just pickup and go once a year.

Just add food and water! lol

i guess 3 people are sleeping on the ground

Does it occur to you that you may have 3 mates that have sleeping bags that may want to sleep inside with you? A car comes with room for 5 but they dont come with 4 humans

I think bk12321 makes a valid point. it says EVERYTHING 5 people need, but then only includes 2 sleeping bags. To continue the car analogy, that would be like a car only coming with 2 seatbelts and 2 seats, and the other 3 mates have their own.

Open the sleeping bags, and there's enough room for at least 4 to sleep on if they're really really friendly.. or in a porno.
