Overwatch 2 Announced

Did there really need to be an Overwatch 2? Couldn't they just update OverWatch 1 and be done with it? I know the micro-transaction sales dried up with OverWatch but making a second game isn't the solution. Just look at Team Fortress 2 and how long it lasted? Maybe OverWatch should be free?

And we still can't have Half-Life 3.
