GUYS i have gotten in serious truoble. i bought a 17-930 for my own use and put it on a intel DX58S0 mother board. my config is as follows a ati radeon sapphire 5870 graphics card-1,6 gb of 1600 mhz corsair ram,2x600gb velociraptor in raid 0 function. a coolermaste 650 watt supply. some how i just cant seem to get the juice out of my pc. i dont know if there a bottleneck somewere. and guys considering im a newbie at overclocking kindly give me instructions to overclock my cpu and gpu

What do you mean by can't get any juice out of your machine? Not enough fps in games? Windows unresponsive?

First thing I'd do is get an SSD. Second thing I'd do is reinstall Windows, and get all the right drivers. At stock your system should be very powerful indeed, so if there seems to be something wrong with the performance of your system then getting an extra GHz out of your processor won't help.

also what kind of cpu cooler are you using because I would not recomend OC'ing a core i7 using the stock cooler it comes with.

i dunno i just feel that its kinda slow. because u see when i played crysis on it and i wanted to adjust my weapon then the screen used to freez for some time before it became normal, and then i used gamebooster sftware to reduce load on my cpu and it became normal after it . but in local gaming arenas they use typically about 2 gb of ram 500 gb 7200rpm sata and a single nvidia graphics card worth about 18,000 rs. or 350 dollars. yet i find games boot faster on their rig. im curently using a cooler master cabinet with 4 external fans and 2 internal fans in an air conditioned room
