Overheating X800 XT?

Okay, I have a ATi X800 XT All-In-Wonder with a stock HSF inside my Cooler-Master Centurion 5 case. With the lid open and after 30 minutes of play in BF2 at MED-HIGH/800x600/4xAA my GPU temperature according to ATi TrayTools OnScreen Display reaches 69 degree's celsius, with the lid of my case off. According to Everest, at the same time, it claims the GPU temperature to be 53 degree's celsius.

According to Everest
Idles - 40 degree's celsius
BF2 for 30 minutes with case lid off - 53 degree's celsius

According to ATi TrayTools OnScreen Display
Idles - 45 degree's celsius
BF2 for 30 minutes with case lid off - 69 degree's celsius

What program is giving me the correct temperature? And the reason I was looking into temperatures so closely was because earlier that week, my computer had totally rebooted while playing Battlefield 2 and Prey. I had suspected Xfire was causing this... but now after looking at other possibilities, I'm convinced my video-card may be overheating., causing my PC to reboot. Is this possible? Please, let me clarify all this mix-up with Everest and TrayTools, thanks.

- ALSO, I am having no other overheating inquiries or issues, but what could be another explanantion of why my system reboots mid-game, after playing around 30 to 60 minutes.
 
well you cannot really say you're having no heat related issues with this problem of yours. I assume you're at stock speeds on the XT yes? Even if your TrayTools Temps are correct that's within the reasonable limit of that card. Are you artifacting or hard locking at all or just re-booting? Often in the past soft boots like your were due to OC's that were under volted but I don't believe that's your case here. Try sticking a fan preferably a 120mm if you got one blowing directly onto your video card. If that doesn't alleviate the problem you issue is either driver related [though I doubt it] or cpu related
 
Correct, my videocard is running at stock-speeds. However, my CPU is running a + %10, so 2.4GHz > 2.6GHz. Could this have been the cause of my reboot? I'm more leaning towards my video-card or a software (Xfire) for being the cause in this problem since this problem only occurs when any game and Xfire is running. I have yet to see what results I get when I continiously play games without Xfire. thanks.
 
Oc'ing your Motherboard and cpu can cause issues with the AGP slot. Try setting it to defaults and try again. I have a X800XTPE and know that aftermarket cooling devices work much better on these cards. I also agree with the other members here in that it could be driver related. There are other driver sources out ther besides ATI. Do a google search for ATI drivers and try some of the optimized drivers from others. Thanks.

Actually just reading your sig you have the same board as I and I have had issues with the AGP slot when the CPU is oc'd try it you can always change it back.
