Hello,
For the past month i have been having problems with my computer randomly rebooting or just shutting down during extended hours of play.
at first I thought it was my video card, ATI tools and speed fan reported the card at about 64c during heavy load, (radeon x850xt) fan seems to be working good, opened the case and completly cleaned everything, removed alot of dust from the video cards heatsink and the card temp was now at about 56c under load. (running 2 fans)
The rebooting would still happen but way less often, now the temperature outside is getting really warm and i havent installed my AC yet and the rebooting has started happening again, so far once today, and 3 times this weekend.
Today i noticed that on touch my PSU was really hot and barely any air was coming out of the PSU fan, the metal grid gets extremly hot during heavy load, and i was wondering if this was the reason my computer kept crashing and if a psu should be running that hot.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks
