Overheating Problem? Or What??

i Have a Western Digital raptor 74gb one. I play WoW for a few hrs a day but sometimes, The whole hard drive totaly shuts down on me and turns back on and it keeps doing it repeatedly. And it just loads up to were it was again without any crashes or blue screens. This does not happen to me all the time only when i use the hard drive alot for WoW and other games. I can keep my comp on for weeks and this wont happen, i know it shuts off because i hear a click then the whole disc slowing down and starting back up again and during that whole process my whole screen freezes for 2 seconds and resumes going, then after a 10 second period, it will do it again. Is this a overheating problem or just a Hd malfunction? What should i do

Amd64 3400 Northwood
1gb Mushkin 2-2-2 Special ram
Nvidia 6800 GT
Western Digital 74Gb 10k 8mb buffer hd
Swiftech Water cooling system on Cpu and Vga
Psu 500 Watt came with Super Alien Case.
I got 2 fans on the radiator one on the side window and thats about it.
And im only ocing my 6800 gt to ultra speeds.

Do you mind giving your specs? Maybe it's not as bad as you think.. I'm thinking possible overloading of your psu..
 
Another vote for PSU here. Drive may not last a whole lot longer though - backup anything on there you can't replace. Also, test and see if the hard drive can handle a heavy file copying load with the rest of the system idle, leave CPU and vid card idle. Post systems specs (mainly mobo, CPU, RAM, video card, total number of drives/fans in the box along with what PSU you are using to power it all) and we'll see if we can't track it down. You are correct that the drive should not do that, but it may not be the drive that is causing the problem
