After having my computer on for most of the day yesterday, later at night, I started to see these horizontal lines go across the screen..

I had seen it before but it didn't happen often
Then, an hour later, the monitor started showing double image.
Is this an overheat problem? Because after switching to my CRT for the night, then going back the problem is gone..

by the way i got a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro -> NEC MultiSync LCD1760NX(DVI)
 
To find out, put a big fan "that cools rooms... not a dinky case fan" next to your monitor and see if that helps. Is the room really hot or anything? LCD's can get pretty warm, but they dont overheat that easily.
 
I know, its never done this before, I just hope this was a overheat error not
an internal error
