I built a new system a little while ago, specs listed below. My problem is that (while I know it has been dubbed "useless") the PCProbe utility that asus gives is stating that my motherboard is "overheating" The mobo come with the fanless heat pipe device, and I attached a northbridge heatsink and fan assembly to further aid in head dissipation. My CPU is running fine according to PCProbe, but the utility defaults to set off an alarm at 45C. I am using the Thermaltake Armor Series VA8000BWS chassis, with all fans in their prescribed positions.

Basically, my questions are
  1. Is my mobo overheating?
  2. What is 'maximum' temp the mobo should get to?

Specs::
MOBO - ASUS M3A79-T Deluxe
Chassis - Thermaltake Armor Series VA8000BWS
CPU - AMD Phenom 9850 Black Edition
GPU - ATI Radion HD 4850 (x2)
DRAM - OCZ Reaper DDR2 PC2-8500 (2x2GB)
PSU - Corsair 1000HX

solved. Don't buy that case (at this point its off the market). Case needed to be modified heavily to allow proper airflow, after using airflow meeter @ front air intake.
