I am rearranging my Logitech Z-5500 speakers and at the same time trying to reduce cable clutter. I have two tables behind my chair with rear speakers sitting on them. Obviously this results in two wires dangling next to my chair and causing a trip hazard (more concerned about speakers not being able to take the fall).

I had the idea of setting up my speakers like how they have the demo surround sound systems set up in stores. They have the rear channels placed on a long stand that goes to the back. I did some searching and I came up with one of Creative Lab's "creations" http://www.hardware-one.com/reviews.asp?aid=42&page=1 it is the Creative Sound Station. That is precisely what I need, however it was sold only in the asia market. I hit ebay next and still no luck. Is there a specific name to these type of stands?

Anyone know where to get something like this? Or do I have to custom fab a few steel bars? I know the store demos have some sort of stand, but those might be custom fabricated. If they are for sale then I will need to go pick up a pair.
 
Well, I was just curious if anything like that exists here. I know the creative one i specified was only available in the asia market. However, at Best buy they have the surround sound demo set ups with the overhanging stands for the rear speakers. I was just wondering if those could be bought somewhere. Though I doubt it, since they are most likely custom built for the store.

If nobody has any ideas about where to get those then I'm going to start on my custom fab project in a week or two. :D
