Overdrive Missing In Panel?

I don't think I will use it but why is OD missing in my ATI control panel?

Gigabyte 9600 XT with 4.1
 
This is the second time I have posted this question with no response...does anyone have any clue?
 
Overdrive may or may not work on your 9600XT, it doesn't work on cards from some venders. From what I've read it also needs the ATI Hotkey poller service running to work. This and this should be of some use.
 
That was somwhat helpful the first thread mentions some XT's don't support it, the second thread says the Gigabyte version does support it )-:
