Time for a new Overclockix iso! I call this one 3.79 (overdozed), and its basically 3.7 combined with LTSP 2.1, plus all of the look and new software from 3.8, but none of the bugs. So the kernels' (2.4.27 & 2.6.9) are not quite the newest, but then again, that allows for captive-ntfs work well. There's no Unionfs, but unionfs has still got some problems.
Don't know what I'm babbling about? Overclockix is a customized version of Knoppix. It's design intent is to look cool, fold@home, and be good for a linux noob to use for rescue/recovery and as a desktop Linux OS.

Folding@home: whether running live from CD or installed to HDD you've got folding covered!
1) It folds with wine by default. But it can fold with the linux client if you want it to. It will run one or two folding clients depending on how man y cpu's you've got. All you have to do is boot the CD, edit the client.cfg's and restart the folding service (all easily accomplished by clicking on files in the default user's /home directory.
2) It comes with an alternate linux-client folding service which will run up to 8 clients based on # of CPU's. Easy to manage via simple command like foldon, foldoff, view fold.
3) The default wine folding service is ready to be used for LTSP netbooted diskless clients. Just install the OS, edit client.cfg, launch the terminal server, and boot your clients through the network.
4) Preconfigured samba share for montioring via EM3 from a windows box.
