In my asus probe software i'm reading the system info. It reads my processor as beign 2800 MHZ which is right... and it says Max speed is 3600Mhz. Does that mean assuming I dont melt it that's the speed i can hit?
 
nah means the max speed of your FSB times your CPUs current multiplier, most likely your board tops at like 250mhz FSB and you have a decent multiplier.

But that says nothing about you possibly getting there, it is a crap shoot, though the 2.8C has been known to do it more then once around here.
