Hello guys.
I was wondering, how exactly do you overclock a CPU properly?
I have had a pentium D for about a year now, it is a Pentium D 805 2.66 ghz, 533 mhz FSB.
I have had this one motherboard, ASUS P5VDC-MX and I never had a good chance to overclock it because the motherboard's BIOS lacked the option of changing voltages.

So for the holidays, i bought myself the eVGA 680i motherboard and 2gb's of Corsair XMS c4, 800mhz.
But my question is, how are you supposed to overclock? I remember a friend mentioning you raise the voltage by a certain interval as you increase the CPU's frequency. I just wanted to make sure by coming here, since I also ordered the TT armor case with watercooling, so I plan to overclock past 3ghz.

Thanks.

Yeah... You need to read bro. Don't think we can walk ya through each and every step...well, we can..but it wont happen. ;) You need to at least get an understanding of what your doing.
