Hi Guys,

Ive been outta the computer field since the A-64's were just coming out, yeah been awhile, had a fire and lost everything just getting around to getting back online, but what I was wondering is what is the best CPU's for overclocking these days, back then it was 2500+'s and 1700+'s etc, etc . So I was just wondering if they had anything like that now something that overclocks as well. Looking forward to the input. Good to be back.

Or wait until after 7/24 and get x2 3800 after AMD price cuts. OC to 2.4g is almost guaranteed.

Thanks for the input, Im either going to buy an older setup from scratch and just OC it, or maybe something a little newer, so Just thought Id ask what people thought..

for cheapness get a venice 3200 and a decent clocking motherboard.
The Asus A8N-E is good for a single PCE-E slot board.

My 3000+ default speed is 1.8GHz. with water cooling it clocked to 2.8GHz and with the default air cooler gets 2.7GHz, a 50% overclock :)
