I have a few questions about overclocking my Barton XP 300+. I know that you have to up things incrementally and slowly. However, the FSB speed of this particular processor is 333 Mhz so the BIOS FSB is set to 166 Mhz with the multiplier set at 13.
What would be a good starting point to overclock my XP 300+? Should I up my FSB to 200 Mhz and set the multi to 11? That would give me a 2200 MHz processor. Also, at what point should I start increasing the voltage of the processor and at what intervals should I increase it?
The last question I have is if I increase my FSB to 200 Mhz is there anything that I need to do the memory frequency? Right now I have the the ratio set to 1:1. Do I need to decrease this ratio? I am running Samsung DDR 333.
Any help and as much detail as possible is greatly appreciated.
