Overclocking with FSB question

Hey all,

Question,

I have an Athlon 64 3200+ with an MSI k8t Neo-Fis2r mobo. The mobo doesn't have an AGP lock... Do i have to worry about permanent damage if I overclock the FSB???? or will it just be more of a stability issue?

finding a stable overclock won't have any serious permanent damage other than shortening the life of your processor. even after shortening its life though, it'll last much longer than you need it to.
 
well u need that lock do not overclock unless it is locked. wait till a new bios is released before you do anything because if you do it could mess up your whole system. if u up the bus its going to up the agp as well causing possible mass failure on many components i would not do anything better off waiting.
