i searched and searched and i didnt find a thorogh answer. sooo, i was wondering how to overclock my video card. do i need software from somewhere? if so, can i get a link for it. my freind said that it wasnt done in the bios, so i really dont know. thx
 
hkey_local_machine/software/nvidia corperation/global/nvtweak make a dword.. call it coolbits.. set it to 3.. hope thats right.. not at home and im using damn ati laptop so i got no nvidia drivers installed
path might be slightly wrong...
 
after that you go to nvidia control panel (from display properties) and voila! clock frequencys is added to list :D
 
Does the 6600GT PCI-e have any pipes that can be unlocked like the 6800?
