overclocking tips for X1950XT

hey guys just bought me an X1950XT and a zalman VF900 cooler, and i was wondering if you had any tips for a beginner overclocker. i've always wanted to try it, and from what i hear, the zalman will allow me to do so. any tips or tricks that i should be aware of? any cool programs that you guys know of that would help?

just crank up the fan if its adjustable and slide the 2 OC bars in the CCC as high as they will go while still keeping the card stable during gaming

this is as far as the beginners overclocking goes ;)
