I've gotten mine stable at 2.38 (207FSB) with insane vcore increase @ 1.906, stock it runs at like 2.1GHZ it starts kickin me out of games when I have it at 208FSB or higher I think its the cpu givin errors and kickin me out not the ram coz its corsair pc3200 cas2 running @ 6-3-3-2 (2.7v) which it should easily handle and ive tried running the cpu multiplier .5 down and it doesnt crash at all so must be the cpu.. Questions, whats the max voltage i could go upto on my air cooling, right now when its idle it runs @ 39/40C very cool imo and any suggestions on getting it to run higher?

i had a slower chip first and a less good mobo, XP2400 with kd7-raid hit the limit at 2.34ghz, 180fsb..this info aint helpin me much, anyone out there with xp3000? my max is still 2.38GHZ..bawr i spent allot of money on this..

have you tried lowering your fsb back to 200 and raising your multiplier .5. u could also try lowering ur voltage, when i upped mine too high it wouldnt o/c as well. i got a 3000+ and when i put it in my motherboard it went splodey (just thought i would share that with you) sparks every which way. i think the 3000+ is a crap chip. maybe ur mobo is just whoring out on you with the fsb, im not familier with the AN7. sorry that i didnt give any real advice, just yearning to post.

yea, i tried both at 200fsb it still maxes out at 2.4ghz at most.. ill try tommorow to go lower on voltage i might be running to high on vcore..i read a review on my mobo and it should be decent for oc, some say it needs future bios updates but the review i read they had a xp2800 running at 220mhz fsb at 2.3x ghz..

My 3200+ wont go any farther than 2.4ghz, no multi increased. My multi can only go to 11.5, so... a .5 increase. Would it be safe to say my multi is locked?

i Had a 3000XP Barton and a Asus MOBO and it would run all night and all day at 12X200 at 1.70 volts, i got a FX51 now and it overclocks like a monster, still using a 3200XP that overclocks really well too, so its usally the luck of the draw on what cpus you get.
