Overclocking the Radeon 9600 Pro

Hello everyone.

It seems as if I am having problem overclocking my ATI Radeon 9600 Pro. I have tried using software tweaks such as RadLinker and ATITool and niether have worked for me. On ATITool, i've saved the settings, etc but after I reboot the core speeds are back to default. For RadLinker, I adjusted the core by just 5mhz and I hit "Set" and it gave me a whole screen of artifacts. Anyone know how I can overclock my 9600 using software that has worked for them? Thanks for your time.
