Could someone help walk me through the process of overclocking, i'm farely new at it and only done it twice before, both time with help, and this time after updating the bios i cant seem to get it to work. Thanks.
 
did you buy the 2.4c extremely recently? what motherboard? what memory?
 
ah sorry about that, the processor is about 18 months old, i am using an ic7-g abit motherboard, corsair xms 1 gb(2x512) 184-pin ddr sdram ddr 466 (pc3700)
 
pc3700 i slike what you would buy for a 3.2 not a 2.4
you should have bought pc4000 at least but did you at least get 230 fsb? stock volts perhaps? the good 2.4cs do like 3 ghz stock volts
 
at the time it seemed like a good idea to get it, i didnt have the money for pc4000, and people reccomended to me to get the pc3700 to leave room for upgrades
