You change the multiplier by soldering. That's the only way to overclock the mini that has been found.

That got blown way out of proportion by the "[H] people." A few of us ("Apple snobs," I guess) were saying it was a bit of a waste to buy a mini only to rip it out of its case and put it in a fulltower just to add a 3.5" drive, not that it was foolish to overclock the mini.
