Overclocking Pentium D 805?

hi.. i need help overcloking my 805? atleast @3600mhz im satisfy already. but i dont know how to overclock even. so somobody can help me give me way how to do OC step by steps..

Well first, if you overclock a pentium D, I suggest an artic cooler 7.

Secondly, when overclocking, don't just shoot up, go up slowly. You could kill your cpu that way.

If it's running well, then it's okay, but don't do it that way next time (Unless you went up slowly?).

Also, overclocking too much will kill your cpu. Find a good place and stay with it.
 
One final thing, what really kills a cpu when overclocking is if it overheats. You need to make sure it doesn't overheat if you overclocks, otherwise the cpu will die burn out quickly.

Find a good heatsink, like the one I mentioned.
 
Lower the ram to slowest speed possible, and then just start upping the FSB and running Prime95 until it crashes. Then just up the voltage one notch and do it again slowly going up from there ... etc. etc.

Check temps those are most imporant, and don't overdo the volts, that can be not good in the long term for your CPU as it can overheat easily or become unstable.
