Hello,
I've never overclocked a system before in my life. I've read a few articles, but they all mentioned the applications used for stress-testing were running @ Windows.

I currently use Arch Linux as my primary desktop OS, and would like to know what apps [H] members use/recommend to test O.C. stability.

I'm mainly talking about CPU/RAM OCing.
 
I don't know of any stability specific test, but you could always use a multi-core Folding client. That's what I've started to do, and I found that it works well when determining your highest safe OC level. You'll either lock up, crash, or get back bad results if you're pushing too hard.
