Overclocking on a $30 ECS board

I got this combo at frys for 170 dollars (3.0E and ECS mobo) and for the longest time I thought I needed a new mobo........Until right now. I put my ram clocks to stock (2700) and tried to overclock on this mobo on this 848 chipset. So far I can belt out 3.52ghz and a 940FSB with everything stock including cooling. Being winter that is my temps are 37c idle and 48c load which imo is pretty good for a prescott with stock cooling :cool:. Yes I know this post is lame but its an ECS lol.

I plan to get a ASUS pretty soon so....don't worry I don't at all think this setup is rock solid stable. ;)

Btw what's the farthest a 3.0E can be taken with stock voltage?

I just tried to hit 3.75ghz and it..........does. Just doesn't go past the bios screen lol. I guess I need more volts but this crappy mobo doesn't allow vcore changes :(. I can't wait for my asus.
 
not too shabby for a shiet board.....i got my 1700+ t-bred up to 2500+ speeds on this shietty ecs board :p
