w/ the quick ai over clock at 10% i am at 3.1 something and running not even 27C cpu and 30c mb, with ram and motherboard, manually oc'ing this setup how exactly do i up the fsb past 200 when the ram is made for 200. i don't wanna run at 5:4 and would like to run 1:1, so do i up the voltage? if so how much? and anyone else have this setup getting some decent overclocks, i don't think heat is gonna be an issue as i currently have 300 over and am not even at 30c. please let me know and i'll keep u guys posted.

hmm.... kinda confused about your wording... I assume your saying that you want to increase the fsb but not the ram? If I understood you wrong correct me. anyways if this is what your trying to do I wouldn't bother. You will get little to no real increase unless the fsb and ram are running at the same speed. I would just keep upping the fsb and ram @ 1:1 and test using prime95. when it craps out just up the voltage by the smallest increments possible. if this doesn't help then just back down a MHz each time until its stable.
 
honestly i don't care really what i do, i just would rather run the ram at 1:1 because i hear it's not too good to run at 5:4 other than that, i don't care what i have to adjust or what not. hope that clears it up
 
It is true 1:1 is a better ratio to run at. However, 5:4 will not effect your performance that much with your setup. Only processors where big performane hits occur not running at 1:1 were the AMD Athlons and before. 5:4 will be easier since you dont have to up your RAM as much, and you can drive your processor higher. I would first set the ram as low as possible when overclocking, and get the CPU to its max, remember to move up in increments. Then after you find out the max CPU overclock then you can add RAM back into the factor for performance. Depending on how much FSB you can raise depends on what to set your RAM to. If you only get a small overclock you will probley be able to run it at 1:1 timings, if your FSB gets higher then you can run it at 5:4. Also, if you need to you can relax the timings a little since they are pretty tight on that RAM I would assume which will allow a higher RAM overclock if needed. If you are confused I will simplify it.

1. Lower RAM ratio to LOWEST (1:1 HIGHEST)
2. Slowly raise FSB by 5 or lower, the less you increase each time the better however for time 5s is the best
3. Increase until system becomes unstable, if temps are still low increase Vcore voltage to gain stabability
4. Dont increase Vcore to high, check intels recommended max voltage and try to stay around that
5. If you are at max Vcore and system is unstable slowly back the FSB down until stabability returns
6. Use Prime95 or another CPU intensive program to test stabability
7. Reset everything back to default
Note: Make sure to constantly watch temps!

Now you know the max overclock your CPU is capable of without having the RAM as a factor. After you complete those steps then come back and report your findings, and I am sure either myself or someone else will aide you in properly overclocking your RAM or using the right ratio for max performance.
