I have an ATI X800 XL w/ Arctic Cooling Silencer 5 and i dont know what the max limit is for overclocking these as im a n00bie at OCing and dont want to burn it up!! so if you guys can help me out it would be great. i did a little bit but didnt want to push it too much and stopped. its stable here no artifacts or anything.

core-490@440
mem-400@585

I didn't get my Sapphire X800XL to OC much before I got artifacts...see sig.

Got my X800XL running @ 468 core 576 mem, using ati tray tools. Rock solid.

I have the zalman vf700-alcu. Temps never over 58c coming out of games.

Hmmm..I might have to pick one of those up. Mine runs DAMN hot with the stock cooler.

Yeah, i was struggling to overclock that much with the stock cooler. I've heard good things about the Arctic Cooling Silencer 5 too.

Do you remember what you were able to get on stock (hopefully better than mine lol)?

just remember when overclocking, not every card can OC the same. Mine may OC to 500 core and 600mem (just an example) while someone else with the same exact card with the same cooling can barely over clock 10mhz higher

either my card runs SUPER cool or the temp sensor is messed
load@stock
gpu-49C
env-42C
if these temps are right then i think the ACS 5 is nutts!!! but then again I live in vancouver, b.c. and its starting to get cold, which means more OCing potential :p
