Ok, im trying to achieve best OC settings. I am rather new to this, but not a complete noob.

My hardware is as follows

AMD 4200+ 2.2 ghz
ZALMAN CNPS7000B w. arctic silver 5
Asus a8n sli-deluxe
Kingston ValueRAM 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200)
OCZ Platinum 1 gb (2 x 512) PC 4200
BFG Tech 7900 GTX OC

ANY advice is well apreciated.

The first thing that strikes me is that you have very different kinds of ram which almost certainly won't play nice with each other in terms of achieving the same speeds at the same timings. Is it your intent to run all 4 512 sticks?

If you donate that Kingston value ram to another rig... You could have the potential to do some serious overclocking. If not... (or at least try it with all 3gb ram first)

Drop the HTT to 3x.
Drop your CPU's multiplier to 9x.
Put on the 5:6 divider (or the DDR333 divider, whatever your board has).
Push the FSB up to 240 from 200 in 10mhz steps.
Keep going till you can't boot into windows.
Raise your Vcore and Vdimm voltage by 2 settings (0.05v for the Vcore and whatever it is for Vdimm).
If you can boot into windows, keep adding to your FSB, this time by 5.
Keep going till you can't boot again.
After each 40mhz retest for stability using at least an hour of prime.

You should be closer to 265~ FSB right now... You RAM should be running at 198mhz (check in CPUz).

This is probably your limit (give or take a few mhz) with the mixed ram. By all means push it higher, I'm just sayin ;).

If you encounter any problems, I'm using the vanilla version of that board so I can help you.
