Im getting crackling coming through my audigy 2 zs on games. It seems the thing started doing it when I overclocked the FSB to 215 mhz. I lowered it down to 210 and its less, if i declock it further the crackle clears up.. Does this mean I cant overclock my Mobo???

Ive never heard of such a thing, Ive got the pci/agp locked at 33mhz... I just dont get it

double check the pci is locked because thats really the only thing that can be causing it. however increasing the chipset voltage could also cause this. so turn that back to stock and try again.

pci/agp is most definatly locked at 33/66 mhz..

I tried rolling back the bios from the beta I was using from 18 to 17... Im still getting the crackleing.

I just uninstalled my BFG 6800 gs oc and the Audigy 2 ZS, ran driver cleaner and am now about to install them in opposit order.. Nvidia first, reboot ,then the creative audigy

I was using all the exact hardware with my 3400+ newcastle (135nu) ver. and had the FSB cranked at 220 no problem.. Way hotter chip running, but only supported 800MHZ Hypertransport setting. The FX 60 is alot cooler so heat cant be the problem, but what about the Hypertransport bus difference??? The FX60 runs at 1000MHZ ... Could the faster bus be causing the sound artifacts in the Audigy 2 zs, or am I way off here
