Yes I know all the things about why that is "bad" but, I can't seem to do it. Not because I don't know how, but because all the tools that I usually use (ATITool, ATI Tray Tools, RivaTuner, supposadly there is X1000 OCing in the CCC but I can't find it, I Mobility Modded the 6.9s...) do not show overclocking options for the mobile X1300! HELP!

oh, that's real helpful lol, I've got PowerPlay on so it will only throttle up when I need it (aka when it's plugged into the wall and someone is playing games on it)

Just because its really not a smart thing to do. Mobile chips and mobile gpu's are VERY different from desktop processors and gpu's. Especially when they are onboard and are fully dependent on the other components in order to function. The mobile x1300 hypermemory is onboard and depends fully on the cpu AND system memory to function. Add to all of that the fact that there is VERY little cooling on a laptop and its not a smart thing to start overclocking anything on it. You screw one thing up and the odds are, you may have screwed up your cpu, motherboard and or ram. If you fry your motherboard or cpu then you might as well replace your entire laptop because you cant swap those out like you can on your desktop...

[H] members are more than willing lend a helping hand.. But most of us know better than to offer advice when it is as risky as this.. All for a SLIGHT.. and I mean SLIGHT performance upgrade.
