title says it all. getting my case and Motherboard tonight. thought i would post this now for assistance.

Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3
CPU: Phenom II x6 1090T (15-30 dollar aftermarket cooler. dont know which 1 though)
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon 7970
Case: HAF X (both fans on top) (check case to see cooling)
RAM: x2 Kingston 8gb DDR3
PSU: 850w Corsair

I am looking to get a little more info on HOW to overclock as well as some shortcuts in known limits and such from people who have similar specs.

i tried OC'n my GPU by setting everything stock and then raising 1 slider a little bit and running furmark benchmark till it crashed and then same for memory clock. taking the 2 possible stable numbers and combining. but still crashed a lot even after taking both numbers and reducing them. as for CPU clocking i still need to learn more because i dont seem to do a very good job with my current MB so i need to be prepared for the new one.
