Overclocking my 7600GS

Apparently I can overclock my 7600GS 512mb video card a bit. My question is.....how?
I know how to overclock a processor, but no video card. Yes I'm a noob.

Then also google "7600gs pencil mod" but you might need better cooling.

Download coolbits for your 7600GS. Go into 3D settings in your video control panel to use it.

Ok i dled coolbits

and got the nvidia thing to automatically detect optimal settings

it changed my core clock to 416 (from 400)mhz

and the memory clock from 400 to about 450mhz

is that stable, and will i even get a difference?

You should be able to get a bit more than a 16 mhz OC on the gpu...just try it incrementally, moving the GPU up 5 mhz at a time, then running a test (ie 3dmark, or intense gaming etc) to see if its stable, while monitoring temps and looking for artifacts. When you start to see artifacts, or it becomes unstable, back off 5-10 mhz, and that's your stable, highest OC! Then do likewise with the memory!

With a vf900 I pushed my gf's 7600gs to 500/480 and it seems to be just fine so far.
