First off, I would like to thank this board for being the most helpful board I've found on the net.

Now on to the meat and pototoes of why I am hear. I recently purchased and q9550 to go with my Abit IP35 Pro. When I installed the CPU I started getting nios checksum errors and now the board wont stay running for more than a few seconds before losing video and freezing up. I get a random array of Post Error codes which are never the same 2x in a row. I've attempted to contact Abit several times through phone and email to no avail and as I've found out they are no longer making motherboards. I've tried replacing the battery to no avail, and the system wont stay running long enough to flash the bios. Any suggestions to fix this problem?

Otherwise, what would be the best motherboard to Overclocking to purchase?

Intel Q9550
4gb XMS2
Coolermaster 650watt
Must have raid 0 capabilities
8800gts (G92)
Water cooled CPU and GPU

Thanks for your help.

Any budget? As a general recommendation, I suggest a board from ASUS' P5Q line (other than the vanilla P5Q due to layout issues).

P5Q PRO, but it would really help to know your budget on this mobo because as you can imagine the possibilities are endless

get a p35/45 board, as they overclock the 45nm quad better than the x38/48 boards. also the 780i boards overclock them well. the dfi p45 boards are good, as is the biostar tpower ip45.
