Overclocking limited by N/B Strap CPU settings - HELP!

I'm having trouble overclocking because of the N/B Strap CPU As settings in the BIOS. To be honest, I'm not sure exactly what it does. All I know is that it has something to do with the CPU:DRAM ratio. I was able to overclock to 3.6 GHz with the Strap settings at PSB800, but it didn't last very long because of my RAM. I'm running DDR400 Kingston @ 2.6v. I've tried increasing the voltage up to 2.8v with no results. My goal is to get my P4 3.2 up to 4.0 GHz at a 5:4 ratio. This would put my FSB at 250 MHz and my RAM back to its original 200 MHz. The Strap settings are confusing me. Each setting has a different set of ratios available. The 5:4 ratio that I want is only available in the PSB533 (I believe) and By CPU settings. I'm not sure what effect this setting has on the memory, but if anyone could elaborate on it to clear this up I'd be an extremely happy camper.

I'm running factory settings until I get this topic cleared up.
