I've managed to overclock my board (Asus A7v333) and processor (AXP 2200+ T'bred) to 1898 MHz (13x146) before stably and could go beyond possibly, but I want to extract more FSB first, only problem is my lowest multiplier is 13. Is that the lowest one can get on this board? I am running the latest BIOS (1017) and latest drivers, but I'm limited at 13. Does anyone have any experience with this?

the multi on that cpu is probably locked..

look up the "wire mod" that should let you change the multi..

also.. some of the older a-xp chips could be unlocked by cutting and connection bridges and stuff...

and you listed your bios revision.. but not your motherboard..

good luck..

I thought the wire mod was for changing the vcore? You can unlock lower multipliers with this too?

I remember painting the bridges on my 1800+. what a pita that was.....holding a magnifying glass in one hand, and a needle with goop on the other. :(
