Hey guys what's up? First post here at the forums...
OK I've got a weird problem. I just got my BFG 6600GT OC (AGP) last week and I had been playing around with the core and memory settings until I found something that worked well without overheating my card. Anyways, I went in to change the frequencies yesterday and moved them up and the game performance was actually worse. I then checked the temperature and it was lower then what it had been, actually around 70C as opposed to low 80s when I ran it before. Now it seems that no matter what I set the frequencies at, there is no difference in temperature in the video card and no difference in the gameplay. So it kind of appears that the settings aren't being applied to the card or something...I'm really not sure. I've tried using both Coolbits and RivaTuner but same thing...
Ideas anyone??
