Can I get a link to a thread or some advice on overclocking a Intel Pentium 1.2ghz M processer, or my IBM laptop?

not true. It's just not smart to because of the limited cooling.

I'm typing this on my 1.5GHz celeron laptop currently running at 2.4GHz. You just have to know how to overclock laptops. That being said, it is much harder. For me, it was a simple pin removal on the CPU to force FSB to 133 and then using clockgen to go even higher.

Pentium M CPUs probably overclock very well and the performance will be very good if they are like the rest of the mobile intel cpus. I think anand did an article on overclocking the Dothan, so you may want to check over there. Also, DFI will be coming out with an 855 chipset board that is supposed to support up to 250FSB. I can't wait to see some reviews of this!
