Never oc'd before. Really just want to take the stock to the "factory oc version":

860MHz / 1200MHz (4.8Gbps) to 1000MHz / 1200MHz (4.8Gbps)


Which program is best to use? Also how do i overclock - just bump it to 1000 or go in small increments?
 
You can just try in AMD Catalyst (the control panel). It's called "AMD Overdrive". Just bump it up in 50 mhz increments, one at a time (do core speed first, then memory).

Test stability using OCCT, MSI Kombustor, or Heaven. If it runs fine, bump it up another notch. When you start to artifact, bring it back down to the last good setting. It may very well run at the OC version without a hiccup.
