overclocking help?

so currently have an amd athlon II x2 240 and was just checking but the multi is locked seeings how its not a black edition right..... on to my next question can everyone that owns similar chip share there stable overclocks thank you...

the 240's overclock pretty nicely.. your basically going to be limited by the ram and how far the motherboard will go on FSB.. do some googling for athlon II x2 240 reviews and take a look at their overclock numbers.. should give you a rough estimate of what you can do.. its going to be a little more work to overclock with the locked multiplier.. but its not all that difficult.. just a lot more settings to change..
 
yea i have the g skill 4 gig 1600 mhz cl9 set hopefully it will react well with my asus crosshair III R.O.G mobo and my soon hopefully 5870 :)
