Overclocking graphics card

I was wondering if someone could point me towards a guide or something that can show me how to do this properly/safely. I have a Sapphire HD7750, and have gotten as far as downloading TriXX which is the overclocking utility. I do not know how to test out the settings to make sure they're correct, though. Thanks in advance!
 
I followed those instructions and things seem to be going okay so far. I do Bitcoin mining and distributed computing so I will have to watch for a bit to make sure it's working out okay. I went from 800Mhz core to 900 so far, and 1125 memory to 1275 :)
