i have an Intel Dual-Core E2200, and DDR2 800 memory, but the mobo i have only supports 667Mhz memory bus natively, though it is capable of doing 800 via OC, so says the menu. so here's what i plan to do, assuming the native memory bus speed would be 667/2 which is 333, by manually up'ing the bus speed to 400, and thus 400x2=800, i would have a 800Mhz channel from CPU FSB through memory bus to the actual memory chip, and that would also make the FSB:memory ratio to be 1:1, am i doing it correctly? i'm not actually oc'ing either the CPU or the memory chips, will this produce any extra heat, is it through northchip or southchip? how do i provide extra colling?
