Overclocking choices

What would you choose between :

2.4 GHz, tight timing, DDR400
2.6 GHz, tight timing, DDR360 (Mem at 180)
2.6 GHz, bad timings, DDR400

???

Come on... these 3 settings are perfectly stable on my X2 3800+, but I don't know which one would give me the best overall game performance.

I would say this one depending if the timings are fairly decent.

Well...when you say bad timings, what does that entail?
Also, I assume you're still running at a 1t command rate. If bad timings means 2t, then back off it.

SETUP DEFAULTS.

CAS 3, 2T etc. etc.

I'd say clock as high as you can while staying with a 1T command rate. However, thats just MY $0.02. To be honest, some of the hardest core O/C'ers I've run across are on another forum, Xtremesystems. They are who I use for my inspiration on O/Cing. Check 'em out.

I don't know which one would give me the best overall game performance.

i won't until you give us specifics on the timings and settings you're using. most likely the 180mhz divider is putting the ram a bit below 180mhz

My good timings are :

CAS 2-3-3-6 1T

Bad timings means "stock". Cas 3 and 2T.

Memory is Corsair TWINX2048-3200C2

Those "bad" timings can be compensated for with higher clock speeds.
