Overclocking Athlon 64 3400+

alright this is the story, im no stranger to overclocking but when it comes to Athlon 64 i must say im a little lost, the rig im using is listed in my sig (CG stepping on the cpu) and i just cant seem to get a decent o/c out of it. the best ive hit so far is 250x10 but thats not much of an o/c as well my ram seems to be locked at DDR400 even though my FSB is 250(ive ran this ram at 2-2-2 timings with my XP system at DDR500) and im running 1:1. can anyone shed some light on this and give me a o/cing lesson for A64? BTW i flashed to the lastest lanparty UT drivers.

I also am looking to o/c my 6800GT, looking for some high end air, what do you guys suggest and why?
