Okay so this is what we are working with (its a V2 with 32mb of ram...)

system type : Broadcom BCM4712 chip rev 1
processor : 0
cpu model : BCM3302 V0.7
BogoMIPS : 199.06
wait instruction : no
microsecond timers : yes
tlb_entries : 32
extra interrupt vector : no
hardware watchpoint : no
VCED exceptions : not available
VCEI exceptions : not available

So -- Who has done this? How far did you o/c it? I dont want to hear this doent have any gains or it might break -- because I know. I just want to see how far people go with these things. So -- anyone actually with some XP behind their belt wanna chime in?

PS: I have a box full of various heatsinks and fans and I am not afraid to come up with a creative cooling solution if thats whats required.

PSS: Anyone know how to adjust the voltage to the cpu ;)

Is it possible? man this is something new and i myself would like to know how this ends, anybody?

I dunno about overclocking, but for my WRT54GS, I put on the custom DD-WRT firmware seen here and I love it. There are so many controls, most of which I have no idea how to properly use. One easy one is to boost your Xmit Power to 70, from the default 28. This will make your router range much farther, and give you better coverage.

There are probably some other settings on that firmware that would be usefull to your overclocking, good luck!

I was going to pick up a Wireless N router (200mbps ftw), but man, if you can get your router to overclock, There's no reason I wouldn't pick one up :D.

I mean cmon, OVERCLOCKED wireless Router! Where does the insanity end!!
