Overclocking a 6600GT?

I put the NV Silencer on my 6600GT and my temps fell by 10C. I am considering overclocking the card...what would be a safe overclock?
 
Hi just try the " detect optimal frequencies" function in coolbits.
The save thing would be to increase the frequency only in smal steps i.e. 3mhz till the card starts artifacting in a game or benchmark.
but ive seen many members here with 6600 gt's at 580mhz+ on the core.
 
554/1,109 is the average 6600 GT overclock using my 3DMark05 list.
Hopefully you will be able to get that far without problems.
 
Thanks for the replies. The Nvidia drivers reckon I'll get 563Mhz with 1.16 memory!
 
that's up there, but pretty safe in my experience. anything much higher might require some vmodding however
